About the Centre
The Centre of Applied Science for Health (C.A.S.H.) nurtures interdisciplinary research leading to the development of intellectual property and its commercialization. It aims in particular to generate new scientific knowledge in the areas of Strategies for Combating Difficult and Antimicrobial Resistant Pathogens , Biomedical Devices , and, Translational Molecular Cell Biology Research .
Established at ITT Dublin in 2007, the Centre works through collaborations with government agencies and industrial partners, work to generate new scientific knowledge, which leads to the creation of innovative technologies for improved diagnostics and therapeutics.
CASH aims to provide research outcomes that make a positive contribution to public well-being whilst also providing competitive advantages to Irish industry. We aim to respond to scientific, commercial, and societal challenges for the creation of new knowledge, technologies, supports to industry, and the production of well qualified M.Sc. and Ph.D. level graduates to support the developing Irish knowledge economy.
